How's life? - It's been a long time since the last time we talk!

Anyway, I'm writing because I've got a bit of a dilemma and I need your advice. Do you remember my old mobile phone that I've had for 7 years? Well, the last week my parents finally bought me a new one, and they told me to take good care of it because it was a bit expensive and there's no money for another one. Yesterday, at school, I left for a sec the mobile phone on the table to search something in my bag, and when I was going to save the mobile phone...it wasn't there! Somebody stole it. I asked to my classmates if they'd seen who did it, but nobody knew it.
I've not told this to my parents, would get very angry if I do so, but the will know it sooner or later. It's just that I don't know how to tell them this. What would you do if you were in my situation?

Levi Tafari's project

Levi Tafari was born in Liverpool. Levi acceded into two cultures, because their parents were Jamaicans. In his teenage years was influenced by the city’s sounds, impacting in his art form.
Later he entered in the world of catering as a profession. To satisfy his artistic urge, he was seeking a medium of expression. He left the trade he loved for the art that he loved more.
He was then and still is a member of the Rastafarian movement. They receive a lot of negative press because there were rumors about how hard is in Liverpool 8 the life. With support he started to take his poetry further afield, he began to write about universal themes, meaning that the message wasn’t only for British people, increasing his performances to other audience.
He works hard in oral traditions. Levi believes that poetry shouldn’t stay on a page, and the tongue was an important instrument. He considers himself as an Urban Griot, the traditional consciousness raiser, storyteller, announcer and political agitator. His work is rhythmic and lyrical, with a move of reggae and very humorous. In the past was influenced by soul and funk too. Levi spent two seasons as poet in the royal Liverpool orchestra.
Levi has three collections of his poetry published and he has recorded poetry in cassette.
Levi has appeared in television and in 1992 he played in “grange Hill”. In 1997 the BBC made a documentary that followed Levi on his trip to Ethiopia, and more recently he has featured in other programmes.
An important element of Levi’s work is going to schools, universities and prisons fomenting creative writing, believing that it will inspire a new generations of poets. Through some projects and various works, Levi was successful in this.
In 2001 Levi toured a recycled band, with a highly successful. His new collection of poems experiments with new sounds. Now Levi is working on the inclusion, diversity in education, and that covers 11 countries.

Sport man, Iker Casillas

With only 16 years old, he's called in his high school, IES Cañaveral, to told that the Real Madrid wanted him to played because there been two disabled in the team.
An important competition for him been in the mondial sub-20 of Nigeria, where he's made a substitution as a goalkeeper. In quarter-finals he's made a good acting on penalties and he's won the mondial.
In 2000 he's become in the most young goalkeeper to played and won the champions league. In 2001 he's won it again with the Real Madrid.
He's won another spanish league, a supercup of europ and the international cup too. He's qualificated like a legend of his team, by his deeds and his young age ( I think now he's 28 years old).

Biography of Ben Stiller

Benjamin Edward Stiller, knowed as Ben Stiller, is an Emy Award-winning American comedian, actor, film producer and director. Stiller was born in New York City, the 30th of November, in 1965. Is son of the knowed comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He began to act when he was 10 years old in a series of his mother. In 1983 he enrolled as a film student at the University of California. After 9 months he left to return to NY City and break into the movies. He act in "The House of Blue Leaves" and then he did other films which drew attention to and like so that he got the position of guionist in Saturday Night Live. He get an small actuation in "Empire of Sun". He directed some films more and he began acting in films like "There's something about Mary" and "Zoolander", and that extolled his career.

Like curiosities, this actor appears in some music videoclips, he often imitate his favorite public figures, he appears in "King of Queens" as father of Arthur(interpreted by his real father) and he made some films with Owen Wilson, a good friend.

ALTERNARIVE ROCK

This type of music was born in the 80's, being called like a mix of musical genres. In 90's was when it became more popular, like the other genres borned of rock. Is influenced for the pop, jazz and electronic music, folk and especially punk rock.
Before calling alternative rock, it was called "collage rock" in the United States and "indie" or "indie rock" in the UK but this name is still used.
The great characteristics of this kind of music are the rejection to sold it like the popular culture. Normally they play in small clubs, record in independent places and are known through other people. They used many diferent things like distorted guitars and depressive letters of grunge or the innocents of twee pop.
There are a lot of very known groups as R.E.M (losing my religion), The Red Hot Chili Peppers (Californication), the Foo Fighters (Monkey wrench), The Cure, with Robert Smith as vocalist, Oasis (wonderwall), Coldplay, with Chris Martin in the microphone, and other groups but not less important. Some famous albums are Nevermid (Nirvana) and Ten (Pearl Jam).
Another great group of alternative rock is Muse.
It is an english group composed by Matthew Bellamy, composter, vocalist, guitarist, keyboard player and piannist; Chrisopher Wolstenholme, bass player, keyboard player and choir; and Dominic Howard, drummer and percusionist. Their influences are classic composters like Sergéi Rajmániov for the piano, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Morello, Queen and Jeff Buckley for the guitar, the riffs and solos. They met in Teingnmouth, when the group of Dominic choose Matthew as guitarist. Later, there were only they 2 in the group so Dominic call Christopher, then alredy friends, and he joined as bass player.
In 1998 they remove the first CD, "Showbiz", with the singles "Muslce Museum", "Unintended" and other fantsatic songs like "Sober" or "Cave". Then the music columnist Steve Lamacq co-founded the producer Taste Media only for the group.
In 2001 they left the second CD, "Origin of Symmerty", using uncommon instruments like the organ and the "mellotron". The singles were "New Born", "Bliss", "Plug in Baby", "Darkshines" and a version of "Feeling good".They remove too the "Hullabaloo soundtrack", a live performance, with new songs.
In the 2003 the CD was "Absolution", with magnific songs like "Time is running out", "Butterflies and hurricanes" and "Apocalipse please". In a live concert that led to a successful tour, the father of the drummer Dominic died and almost separe the group.
In 2006, the last CD for the moment, is "Black Holes and Revelations", the most greatest succes of the group. Wonderful songs like "Invincible", "Map of the Problematiqué" and " Knights of Cydonia" form the CD between others.
They made another tour in Spain, in Northamerica, Oceania and Asia, in 2007 a concert in the Wembley Stadium and another concert in Latinoamerica at 2008 with total success.
It is a very good group but in live performance is the best.
